No im not getting one because of OBAMA.iactually like the breed.

Great dogs! I have two and have considered a third, but do your research and know what you are getting into–their energy level and intelligence are something you must be prepared for on a daily basis. I’ve included a link to the national club page where we list who has available puppies. There is a breeder in Florida who had a litter in January of this year. I don’t know if there are still pups available, but she is listed. If not, take a look around the national club page, there are a list of all breeder members by state. It is very important you go with someone who is a responsible breeder–I would only go with national club members. Best of luck!

Take a look at the American Kennel Club’s recommended list of breeders for your area. At the same time, take a look at the breed description so you aren’t just copying Obama and getting a dog that isn’t a right fit for you and your family.
If you really like the breed and genuinely want a dog, you should really talk to a rescue group in Florida who will help you get a PWD rescue.
Instead of breeding new dogs, take care of the ones out there who have been abandoned because their family’s home was foreclosed.
First off, why? Are you getting this because Obama is or for a good reason. The best thing to do is to find out what you want a dog to do for you then get the right breed for your needs. Dogs love to have a job for there owners and behave better when they do.

I think most of them are more in the midwest so you may have to have one shipped by plane.
