What is the best dog food for a bully breed puppy?
I have a 5 month old pit bull puppy (bully breed) and I feed him Iams puppy food what will be better for his build and I also have a Dacshund thats 4 years old 10 pounds and they eat together? I want to find the best food for both of them and have been told Canidae. Any better foods that you would suggest?

Iams is a good food. So is Purina One. Keep him on it until he is at least 12 months old.
Iams is CRAP! Purina One is good….So is Pedigree. Check with your vet on good foods.
I agree Iams is a very good food, and caters for different stages and sizes i.e. toy, small, med, large/giant.

Recommendations, Canidae, Innova, Blue Buffalo, Solid Gold, or Authority. Stay away from foods like Cesar, Iams, Purina, Pedigree, Eukanuba, Science Diet, etc.

You want to look at the ingredient on the food bag. If there is corn in the food, then do not get it. If there is not ingredient on the beg then defiantly do not get it. Try to stay away from dog food that is sold in your local grocery store. Go to a farm and supply store and tell them you want a dog food with no corn. They will help you!

Iams isn’t a bad food, better than Purina I guess. But try to stay away from stuff you can get in a grocery store. It may be cheaper but in the long run not good for them. Nutro natural choice is a really good brand. Probably need different types of food for each dog though because of their weights and age. The pit bull needs Puppy food for Large dogs (will reach over 50lbs) and the dacshund needs food for Small dogs that are Older.

solid gold is a good food. look it up on the website. iams is not all that good, a mid-grade food. compare the ingredients on the label, you will see.
