Please go to your local shelter to find a dog, first of all. Second, NO, dogs are not easy to take care of. They take dedication, money and lots of patience. So think about all of the things you would have to do and give up to have a baby and there’s what you wold have to do and give up for a puppy/dog. They are a LIFE LONG commitment.
Look in your newpaper they will sell them for about 300 dollars to maybe 500 you can find them really cheap just look into your newpaper.
You have to be commited to raising a dog just like a child. You need to be there for them, to exercise them, feed them, talk to them, pet them. You can’t just leave it alone at home all the time. The cost differs from place to place. Shelters in my area, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania go for about anywhere from 90-150. Most are 90 or so. Depends too if it’s a puppy or older dog sometimes. They aren’t hard to take care of but you have to want it and committ to it. If you get a puppy it’s harder cause you have to teach it to pee outside and they cry when very young. Get one at least 1 year old and make sure it’s trained. Dogs are great companions and love being with you. just make sure you want one, you have to take it to vets for shots and to have it neutered or spayed, so it’s not only the price of buying it. Plus food, toys, bones. Think long and hard and make sure you’re ready.
No, they aren’t that easy to take care of when they are puppies. It requires knowledge and a lot of patience and hard work.
As far as finding your dog, go to petfinder or another site of the like and check rescue shelters in your area.
But you probably need to invest in more time spent on knowing how to take care of a puppy before you get one. It will make everything more simple to figure out.
if you want a purebreed with all the paper work then 1000 is not a bad price to pay for a real purebred and they are worth it.

No dog is easy to take care of. Period. There’s dogs that are "easier" but they all need a minimum of care and love all of which is time and money consuming. The cost varies by the breeder depending on the quality of their lines, you can’t just go to walmart and plop down 499.98 for a puppy.
If you want a dog, be prepared to give up the next 8 months of your life to training your dog– it’s not a part time job. A "perfect" dog requires alot of time and money to keep healthy and well behaved.

those puppies wont b that bad if u get them into training. i have a greatdane and ive had him since he was 3 months old. dogs, as they get older, get easier to take care of.

r u kidding lol well i have a shih tzue and he was 600 and i have had goldons all my life and no they r not 2 easy 2 take care of i guess in genral they r but ya and u no they r not gona be a puppy 4 ever and ya ok well it depends on where u get the dog but mostly they r about 500 or 600 or ect. well good luck!!

Puppies take more care because they have no manners, and you will have to teach them.
Those of us who really love dogs think they are easy to raise and care for, because it is fun for us.
Others may not think so, as cleaning up poop and pee in the carpet is not some peoples bag.
Golden retriever puppies, like any other, don’t come cheap. A golden retriever might cost in the 1000′s, if you are lucky you might find one for about 600. They are very very good family pets. They are genarelly big dogs. Do not get one if you cant give it a LOT of exercise. If you don’t, the dog will get overwieght, which is very bad. If you properly take care of it, retrievers are super great pets!
