I am planning to buy a husky puppy …how much would it cost to take care of him??

$1000 in 4-6 months for a rescued mutt puppy (he’s healthy and he only cost us $90.00)…Everything else, vet visits, supplies, training, food, etc…
shit zus are best!!!! Id say it costs 600-1000 to buy and then about 40 a month to take care of
It cost about 6-7 hundred dollars to get them spayed/nutred and more for food toys, crate, shots! Some breeds I think are cute is the Golden Retriver, Labrador, German Shepard, Siberian Husky!

And the poster, have you done any research on huskies? In a nutshell:
they shed
they howl
they dig craters (NOT KIDDING)
they are stubborn
they escape
they cannot be trusted off lead
NOT for novice dog owners!
I probably spend $50 a month, but LOADS more time training and exercising my dog.
Breeds I think are cute: German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retreiver, Pomeranian, West Highland White Terrier
Well, its very expensive, you’ll have to pay to get shots, and medical bills, if your dog gets sick, youll have to buy food, toys etc.

spaying or neutering
You will need good puppy food
Leash, collar and bed
Brushes,combs and dog shampoo
figure on taking your puppy in for a regular check up every year.
You can call vets in your area and they can quote you how much an exam and shots cost
The cost of the dog is the cheapest part of dog ownership. I would also suggest pet health insurance.

Answerer "AUSSIE’s" summed it all up but did not include the cost of a pure breed which can range from $700 to $2100, not including proper immunization shots and the initial supplies, leashes, bowls, toys, bedding……FOOD – they eat a lot.
