My dog is 3 years old.

I would like something that perhaps covers well visits as well as illness or accidents. Also, I would like something that is affordable as I can’t work and my husband just lost his job. We are getting the insurance so we don’t have to rehome our dogs if some major health issue comes up with them. That would break our hearts.

I am buying a cavalier king charles spaniel soon and i need to find an insurance company that will provide if my dog gets a lifelong condition (places like tescos only offer for a year).

I am deciding between VPI Pet Insurance and ASPCA Insurance. I need something that will cover check ups, emergencies and accidents. My dog is already neutered. If you have any other choices, please tell and tell WHY you use it so I can do a comparison.
